Btw, they reason we merged was...
...Funcoms financial problems, covered up with some story that Funcom wanted to increase the vividness of the servers. My source (which is reliable and will remain anonymous) also tells me that Funcom are really struggling financially now, and that they are thinking of terminating AoC. We will see what happens there...

So investing in AoC gold would not be recommende at this time?
On a more serious note. I don't think this is true because of the development time they still put in to the game. Why would they do that if they knew it was a dead fish?
We will see what happens... Quite frankly, im doubting this rumour as well.
